Contributions 

The Edison High school basketball program relies on it’s player contributions. Here are the principal categories where funds are used:

Program Operations

  • Equipment & Uniforms – Jerseys, shorts, travel gear, practice gear, basketballs, shooting machines, etc.
  • Facility Costs – Gym maintenance, lighting, scoreboards, and court upkeep.
  • Travel & Transportation – Buses, fuel, hotel rooms and meals for away games and tournaments
  • Referee & Scorekeeper Fees – Paying officials 

Player Support

  • Player Meals & Snacks – For long travel days/tournaments or practices during holidays.

Team Experience & Recognition

  • Awards & Banquets- Senior night gifts, trophies, plaques, end-of-season recognition.

Administrative & Compliance Costs

  • Insurance & Compliance – Athletic insurance
  • Fundraising Costs – Materials, software, transaction fees (like for credit-card donations), and audit/reporting functions.

Season Contributions

For the 2025-26 season, we will be accepting all contributions via Venmo, check, or cash.

Snackbar Donations

Suggested snack bar donation is $25 in the form of a gift card to Smart & Final, cash to  Jerry Pirozzi to purchase items. All snack bar donations can be given to Marguerite Hoffman, or your team rep.
