Parents volunteering to support the Edison High School basketball program play a crucial role in enhancing the experience for both players and coaches. Their involvement goes beyond cheering from the sidelines; many parents dedicate hours to organizing fundraisers, setting up equipment, running concession stands, coordinating transportation, and even helping with team events as in team dinners for the players. This volunteer work fosters a stronger sense of community within the school, uniting families and fans in support of our Edison Chargers Basketball teams.

Fireworks Stand - Summer 2026
June 30-July 5th 2026
Mandatory Volunteering: Edison High School basketball won the fireworks stand lottery this year and will need volunteers to help staff the stand, which will be located in the Vons parking lot at Magnolia and Atlanta. We will be sharing volunteer responsibilities with the Girls Field Hockey program. Each player’s family will be asked to provide 1–2 parent volunteers for at least one shift. This is a huge fundraiser for our program and will require some volunteers.
